Sacred Womb
1hr 30min - $269
-
A healing ceremonial ritual rooted in traditional Mayan abdominal massage practices, designed to support deep relaxation, nervous system calm, and reconnection to the lower body. This gentle yet powerful experience focuses on the pelvic and abdominal space, offering a slow, intentional approach to release, balance, and internal awareness.
-
The experience begins with a gentle mugwort smoke cleanse and guided grounding to help you arrive fully in your body. The treatment then moves into slow, nurturing massage through the lower back, sacrum, hips, and abdomen, encouraging warmth, circulation, release, and a sense of internal reorganisation.
Mugwort and rose are used alongside Sangre de Fruta oils to support emotional ease and soften holding patterns. The session concludes with warming towels for the belly and a soothing neck, scalp, and face massage to help settle the nervous system and integrate the work. -
This ritual is ideal for those seeking gentle grounding, emotional release, or a deeper connection to their body. It is especially supportive for women wanting to reconnect with their body’s wisdom and address concerns such as irregular cycles, pelvic pain, prolapse, inflammation, or a sense of disconnection related to a stressed or misaligned uterus.
-
The work is gentle yet deeply restorative. Many guests experience a feeling of being more settled, centred, and connected after the session, with benefits that may continue to unfold in the days that follow. For some guests, follow-up treatments may be recommended to support ongoing pelvic pain or deeper patterns of holding.
-
This treatment is offered by Kristin Lang, who brings over 25 years of experience in women’s health. Her background includes work as a birth doula, prenatal and postpartum yoga instructor, and certified practitioner of the Arvigo Techniques of Mayan Abdominal Massage Therapy®
-
The massage focuses on the position and function of the abdominal and pelvic organs, supporting balance and healthy flow within the body. By gently releasing physical, energetic, and emotional restrictions held in the pelvis, the work encourages proper uterine alignment and supports overall abdominal and pelvic wellbeing.
-
This ritual is not recommended during menstruation or pregnancy, if an IUD or active infection is present, or within six to eight weeks following surgery. If you are unsure whether this treatment is right for you, please speak with our team before booking so we can guide you appropriately.
A Beautiful Tapestry
For more than two decades, The Spa at Brentwood Bay Resort has been dedicated to crafting bespoke, restorative experiences. Every treatment, every touch, every moment is shaped with intention. We blend the botanical artistry of Sangre de Fruta, the indulgence of Éminence Organics, and the clinical performance of of La Biosthétique to create rituals that feel modern, sensorial, and deeply personal.
Because the most meaningful experiences aren’t simple — they’re layered. Together, our spa, dining room, and marina form a beautiful tapestry of care, where the stillness of a ritual meets the warmth of a shared meal and the quiet rhythm of the harbour. Each detail is designed to meet you where you are and linger long after you leave.
At the heart of our work is a simple belief: care begins with listening. We take pride in getting to know you, creating spaces where you feel safe, seen, and genuinely at ease. Guided by kindness, presence, and a deep love for what we do, we approach healing as something personal and unhurried. We don’t believe in transactional wellness; every guest arrives with their own rhythm, needs, and story, and we consider it a privilege to meet you where you are. With warmth and intention, our therapists create calm, respectful environments where trust can unfold naturally, because true restoration happens when you feel understood as much as you feel relaxed.
